Transmission Service

A reliable transmission is a priority for everyone, from business people to homemakers to students to retirees.  But transmissions are often neglected until a problem develops.  As a guideline, transmissions should be serviced every 30 months or 30,000 miles.  A complete servicing includes changing the transmission fluid and filter, all gaskets and and o-rings, and adjustment of the linkage.  Keep an eye open for the following symptoms: the transmission slips, it shifts roughly, or there is a hesitation when shifting from forward to reverse.
